The Ants and the Plastic Plant

A spiral white plastic plant rises out of the grass, with tempting globs of jelly adorning its plastic leaves. A diligent ant scout finds the unnatural structure and winds its way to the sweet dollops of jelly. Along its return route to the ant hill, the scout smears a pheromone trail to lead its companions back to and up the plant's gleaming stem. And they come in droves, scrambling up the plastic plant to retrieve its once-jarred bounty.
