Schrecktier
Ingram Clockworks found a unprecedented animal/plant hybrid growing in a high branch of a dead tree. It breathed but it had leaves. It assumed a defense posture upon our approach but it was rooted in a fungi-like growth. We cut it down and took it home. It died a few days later. In remembrance, we constructed a mechanical reproduction of the creature that we so callously destroyed.
