Duck, Duck, Goose

Before she will lay her egg, On Beyond Mother Goose performs her elaborate nesting ritual. Although separated from her by half a continent, her mate, On Beyond Father Gander, performs his part. He will join her soon, after a long journey south from his summer home on a small island in Maine.
